Drop-Off & Pick-Up

My life actually does seem to revolve a lot around the school timetable now. So, obviously there's the drop off and there's the pick-up which have to be bang on, you can't be late obviously. Equally, we can't really be too early cause otherwise you're standing around in the cold playground not doing much. So, you have to adhere your whole day around those two sign-in points. But then also, you have to arrange your life around any of the other things that go on like these the wild wood expeditions and the school trips and what have you. A lot of my, my day now revolves around his life, which I mean it always has done, but it's outside of my control now, those times.

A lot of things haven't been massively different from nursery, because um me and my wife have split the drop off in the pickups. So, I'll drop off in the morning, and my wife will pick up in the afternoon. And generally, it feels like maybe we need, we need to be a bit more prepared in the morning than we have been before, but not as a major change. Like one thing we had to do is find, we've been following some of the suggestions the school has for being more educationally involved. We, we've been um setting the, setting the blog and finding out the kind of things they suggest they do - we do, to kind of be in line with some of the school projects and we've been doing daily science work with her and the reading and that's been a kind of big change as well is finding the time for this stuff and being aware of these resources we should maybe look at.
